vmware workstation 8.0.4 can't run mac os x using unlocker

the unlocker and other similar tools to modified vmware system file not working on this latest release!!!

i can't run any virtual machine including windows after patching vmware system files

i uninstall the vmware then install i got error that "i do not privileges to install services" i forgot the error code

well all i did to fix the problem was

1. uninstall vmware (do not reboot)

OPTIONAL : license and setting can be unchecked cos you are reinstalling the vmware workstation

if u want to do a clean install then uncheck the box

2. go to x:\programdata\ then delete vmware folder there

3. reboot pc

4. if you have a user account password remove it temporarily

5. open ccleaner clean ur disk and registry also try ace utilities then clean ur registry thorough

6. set compatibily mode (right click on the setup file) compatibility tab.... check "run as admin" then OK

7. install vmware workstation 8.0.4

8. setup the settings!

DONE!!!!
