spootnack
What do you mean by "no concepts" ?Can you provide a screenshot ?And you have a working network connection in your vm at least ?
psyko666
I figured it out, I meant drafts, in Dutch it's "concepten"... my W8 is in dutch language so screenshot wouldn't help much I guess...I have drafts but not in W8, and I do have a network connection with my hotmail synced to it..Cheers.. ;)

spootnack
Hmmmm ok. What client (on Windows 7), email provider and protocols do you use ? Where are your drafts ? On you client on windows 7 or online on your email provider ? Because drafts won't sync if you use POP3 for example. You have to use IMAP. The POP3 Protocol doesn't support folders at all, so the only one you can get is the INBOX. All the other folders are stored locally within each POP3 client. ... If you want to use server-side folders in a standardized way, I suggest you look at IMAP. Most mail-providers do support both POP3 and IMAP and it supports storing folders on the server (including Drafts, Sent mail, and other customized folders). from http://stackoverflow...java-using-pop3 But maybe it's a Windows 8 issue, Release Preview is not bug free so maybe it's the metro app that's broken and you'll have to wait an app update or the final release of Windows 8. Cheers.
spootnack
Hehe. I was just reading the last post on the Windows 8 blog and look what I saw : (Don’t worry, support for other protocols, such as IMAP, are on the way.) From http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/06/14/building-the-mail-app.aspx (posted yesterday). IMAP, still not implemented. Should be for the RTM (I think). Cheers.
