Hi:

I downloaded from nsane the Hitmanpro 3.6 and after I installed it and run the software it appears a message like this:

"You may be a victim of software counterfeiting".

Trying to find a solution a cleared my registry of any name of "hitmanpro" booted the pc and reinstalled it again without luck to eliminate this message. I followed the instructions in the text file as suggested.

Any suggetions are welcome.

Thanks for the help.

Probably want to try using a restore point from a date before you ran that HitMan pro, because it sounds like it removed your windows medicine.

Odd, I'm still not getting this problem since it was first metioned in the link, and its not been swamped with people reporting it....just 2 or 3 isolated cases.

Hi:

Perhaps, since the software runs fine, in my opinion, not to many people bother to report it.

One possibility.

Hi:

The file I downloaded from nsane has the following characteristics:

HitmanPro.exe 5/11/2012 6:50 PM 6,273 KB

The time is 6:50 PM

date created: 6/4/2012 2:34 PM

After I installed this file to the hitmanpro directory and run the program the message disappeared.

Then when I finished run hitmanpro the message appears again and the file changes to:

HitmanPro.exe 5/11/2012 6:49 PM 6,273 KB

The time is 6:49 PM

date created: 6/5/2012 2:34 PM

Apparently is not the same file since the time and date changed.

Any ideas why is this happening? Maybe the problem is there.

Hi:

I changed the folder in directory c:\program files\HitmanPro to "Read Only" but the file keeps changing.
