It doesn't matter if your connection is fast or slow, Internet Cell Boost will increase its speed. Internet Cell Boost will use various unique techniques to ensure that you spend less time waiting and more time browsing.

It optimizes several options such as longer packet Time to Live (TTL), Enable Automatic Discovery, TCP RFC1323 Optimization, Secure TCP/IP and Maximum Transfer Units in order to boost your Internet Connection to its limits giving you the best speed possible your system can achieve using the current connection.

Internet Cell Boost is also very easy to use giving you the option to choose your current connection type to optimize as well as recommending other performance options.

Here are some key features of "Internet Cell Boost":

· Time To Live Packets (TTL)

· Automatic Discovery

· TCP RFC1323 Optimization

· High Performance Data Transfers

· Maximum Transfer Units (MTU, RWIN, MSS)

· Tweak MYTH Debugging

Note: This program is FREE, however it comes with Crawler Toolbar included, BUT you can UNCHECK that at installation! It's as simple as that.

A download speed test isn't a 'browsing speed test'...

Select 'I've got a connection faster than the speed of light and I'm still whining about my connection being slow, what should I do?' :P ;)

Ah gosh, come here... Don't cry, shush, shush, I'll buy you a lollipop! :P

ps these things won't help you much, they might save you 2 or 3 milliseconds every time you load a page, but the thing is you just can't notice it...

Pardon my ignorance but how does one conduct a "browsing speed test".

Also, surely, the browsing speed is dependent upon the browser set-up icon14.gif

particularly for Firefox but also for IE, depending upon the number of open connections icon14.gif

The best tweaker for Internet connection, imo, is TCP Optimizer @ http://www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe & it is also free.

That's the problem, you can't. Not yet anyway.

Could it be that your system was already set-up for optimum through-put or that your internet connection is capped at 2MB

Maybe you can try this website for benchmarking:

http://www2.webkit.org/perf/sunspider-0.9/sunspider.html

Personally I use TCP Optimizer which is doing a good job.
