Adrean
The popular cyberlocker Filecrop decided to disable access to all porn on its site. An interesting move, especially when we read the Filecrop’s motivation. We are pleased to announce that we decided to remove pornography from our search. Respect woman. Be happy. Peace! Apparently the cyberlocker thinks porn is disrespectful to women, or one woman at least. Our guess is that in addition to the respect issue, Filecrop is overloaded with porn related DMCA notices. Unfortunately the porn filter is also disabling access to some non-adult content. Thanks! :view:Original Article: TorrentFreak

spudboy
Lame. Women have a choice to be in the porn industry or not. Tell them to respect themselves, and then maybe others will respect them back. Why is the viewer viewed as being the "disrespectful" one?

But in other, normal porn cases, I agree with you guys. However, I think this ban "out of respect for women" is just a cover up to justify the notices they would probably getting, as mentioned in the article.
