HATE9X
Are there ppl in ur network or r u using a public one? I stopped using wmplayer years ago, but I can guess that's some shared library over network or wireless or something like that..I guess you can just right click and delete it?Pure guessing, I haven't used wmplayer for years as said.. :lol:But andrew-pc is obviously a pc's name (vista creates the default name from the user name and adds -PC.. andrew just a user name or playlist's name)
manpe
I got no other people connecting through this comp... and no other vista accounts, the one is called "Kodu" not andrew... no playlists called andrew and no artists called andrew. It appeared for a minute or so when I opened WMP, and now it's disappeared ( I didn't delete it )
Bizarre™
You should block WMP on your firewall. As for me, I block WMP and explorer on my firewall... I don't stream music through WMP, and there's no reason for explorer to connect to the internet.
Administrator Lite Posted September 4, 2008 Administrator Share Posted September 4, 2008 It could be another computer on your current or previous network. Someone obviously is kind enough to share some files over the network. Its nothing to worry about.. but as the above poster said you could block WMP via your firewall if you don't use it for streaming or the "active" (online) content.
