Cant install this on vista.

When it gets to "copying new files" it fails and does a rollback.

Tried using the nod removal tool - but still no-go.

@Sonar

1- Uninstall the previous ESET

2- Open Regedit (Win+R then type 'regedit" + OK

3- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >SOFTWARE > and Delete "ESET"

4- HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > and Delete "ESET"

5- Close the Window and try to install the newest vesion, I think It gonna work perfect cause I had your issue once :)

NB: Quote funcionnality didn't worked for me!

It would be handy to know a little more about the registered email feature. It stops from installing. If I need to register my email address, it would be nice to know how.

I've been unable to update nod32 for about a day now. The program says it's activated but license type is "No License". Anyone having problems?

P.S. I'd used box-mara 1.6 for activation. It was updating fine for more than a week, until today.

Could be just servers getting jammed/overloaded. Be patient, some times it takes more than couple of days when using trial reseters. :)

Huh, guess what was the problem? I cleared nod's update cache and now it updates again. Apparently there was a corrupted update file in the cache. Sorry for bothering you.

I see. That too happens sometimes.

I'm not using ESET right now about about 3 years of ESET usage, I had to clear the update cache only once. :)

Hello i'm new to this forum and need help in finding Eset antivirus for windows server2003. kindly help!!

As per this page, you'll need:

  • ESET Endpoint Antivirus
  • ESET Endpoint Security
  • ESET Remote Administrator 5

I think ESET Endpoint is posted here somewhere. Please search on forums.

you need to go to de registyry and give permissions to de subkeys (eset)

current user and local machine under software go to key eset and give permissions there.

also go to the folder under c:\programdata - eset and choose right click and go to security tab and give permissions.

the folder read only (unchecked)

restart and try again.
