Description:

Generador v6.3 is a program that downloads the updates for ESET AntiVirus/Smart Security to a folder, and then you have to update from there. The program use valid serials from ulisessoft database to download the latest update files from eset_upd folder on ESET's official servers(retail servers), but the serials are not inserted into ESET, the program just uses the serials to download the updates.

ADVANTAGES:

• If you use this program, the update files will be kept in the folder, so even if you uninstall and reinsall ESET products and you don't have a internet connection - you can simply update from this folder.
  It's also very handy in this case:
  
• If you have a friend that has ESET NOD32 installed but he does not have an internet connection, you can help him out, simply connect to the internet, run Generador v6.3 and it will download the update files to a folder (I will explain later in this post how to use this program) ,now you can burn this folder, copy it to your friend's computer and choose this folder as an ESET update server (I will explain this too).
  

DISADVANTAGE:

• You need to start this program every time you want to update (but actually you can make scheduler to run this program every hour or so).
  

HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM:

1) Copy generador.exe to "C" drive and run it from there. It will create the folder "update" and download the update files to that folder. Wait until it's all finished.

2) Now you need to choose this folder as eset update server.

There are two ways to do so:

• Automatically:
  Download update.reg:
  Uploaded to MediaFire.com. The sharecode is /?aawaydhjrkg.
  Double-click update.reg file and click Yes and Ok.
  
• Manually:
  Open ESET GUI > click F5 > Update.
  Click edit on the "update server" and add the "update" folder location (C:\update) and click Add and choose this folder as the main Update server and click Ok.
  

3) Open ESET GUI > Update and click on "Update virus signature database" to update from this folder.

4) Enjoy.

If you want to use it again just run generador.exe from "C" drive and wait for a moment and then update ESET.

(Of course you can copy generador.exe to other folder/location, but don't forget to choose and add this folder as ESET update server).

NOTE:

NodGen 3.0 does not work properly, so I recommend everyone to use Generador 6.3 instead of NodGen.
