Noddy
marsufix 2.5 not working for me. Nod also detected nodenabler. are you guys using different servers?Try to add the installation directory C:\Program Files\ESET to 'Exclusions' so all your past, present & future fixes get exempted & shielded from NOD32 scans. got it to work finally. i had to manually hit the update button like 50 times. whats up with that?Try NodLogin 9.6 for the moment (it works great) - you can always shift loyalties to your favorite fix (whenever that starts functioning flawlessly.) Mystique
Nod32 has been quite erratic lately in terms of virus detection, lots of false positives and topped off with the trial issues... seems like eset has jumped the shark. LOLI'm not even sure I would pay for it anymore, its to bad really considering it seemed to chew through less resources and had a nice swift scanning engine. alaindc
for me the firewall has been acting up a lot..ive had to uninstall and install a lot and it takes a long time to manually scan my system and gets stuck and mind u i got a dual core amd 2 gb system so its not that slow either....and yeah i wouldnt waste my money right now to pay for it either...cant wait till they have a final for this nod32I have ESS on my system (old barton 2600+, 2 gigs ram) since 5-6 months, i upgrade the version a couple of time, keeping my setting, and i never have any problem, with the firewall (interactive setting), or the antivirus. maybe you're just unlucky.about the slow scanning...if you use the In-depth scan, and not the intelligent one, the scan is much longer.if you use Vista, check this (slow scan Vista)for your hanging problem, maybe this could help you find the cause, or the file that cause the problem

LOLI'm not even sure I would pay for it anymore, its to bad really considering it seemed to chew through less resources and had a nice swift scanning engine.:P My same thoughts. Exactly... I think it's dropping the ball. I had some problems in the past weeks due to trojans, a keylogger and a virus... (I noticed because the other computer I own had norton antivir installed, and detected it right away on a CD I got)I was really considering buying it, but I have my doubts now. :)
jayhuffdaddy
I had the 3353 last night. It auto updated to 3357 but does not show that on the website. Really weird.
dumble
i had some strange things. I use nodlogin with the install notes so it will update auto. But when i update manually it gets an update of about 10MB (every time) and then eset icon turns red and it says its not safe anymore. When i restart computer, everything is back normal. L0rdX3ntris
I don't trust Norton...I have installed Norton in the past, and it just destroyed my OS...I'm not touching any Norton products ever again... ;)Thats not always true. I have used the latest version of Norton Antivirus and its quite ok. But I don't recommend it for slower machines. But on the other had Norton Internet Security and Norton 360 are resource hogs. these are the product that u should try to avoid.

jofre
What about fixes ?Are you getting automatic updates or you still have to try manually and get one after 40 times clicking on update ? Well, I think is better to install again once more and see what happens...
Atreus
I seem to be receiving updates absolutely fine again over the past few days with MarsuFix 2.5. I avoided using NodLogin in the hopes things would return to normal, and they seem to have. Was all that hubbub regarding getting rid of the trial servers false? Everything seems to be fine now, so I'm curious if this is a reprieve or if things are alright again.
