Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0? (CONTINUED)

"NodEnabler 2.1" works same way as "NodLogin 9.6"

NodEnabler is an automatic way that inserts on ESET (AV and ESS) those Licenses (Username and Password) updated everyday on a chinese site .

It`s a good alternative when or if NodLogin fails some day.

Supposing you want to uninstall NodLogin :

1. Use Windows / Start / SEARCH for all files and folders on C:\ and write (1st window) » NodLogin . Now delete all files or folders with this name.

2. Go to Start / Run / (write) REGEDIT - then at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT use right mouse button to FIND -(write)» NodLogin. Now delete on right part everything with name "NodLogin". Use FIND again and delete same way every =NodLogin = till it ends this search.

3. Close now and reboot y/PC.

I was getting updates but I had to click on update like 20-30 times, so I found the Nodlogin 9.6 and it seems to work ok for me, it has upgraded my Eset Smart Security to full version and it shows license valid till 19/09/2008. Also I have scheduled it to run Nodlogin every 60mins. Everything seems ok here but I have a question, after 19/09/2008 what will happen?? will my ESS get a new license or will Nodlogin take care of tht??

The date the license says it's valid through is irrelevant because the license will be blacklisted by Eset within 24 hours or so. But a new license will be obtained and installed by Nodlogin to replace the blacklisted one. And the process will repeat over and over.

And I never said licenses are blacklisted within 24 hours, I said "24 hours or so," which in case you don't understand english too well means "approximately" 24 hours.

Furthermore, just because one of your licenses may not have been blacklisted quickly and lasted for a couple of days doesn't mean that will be true for every other license, forever more into the future. And as far as I can determine, it is not possible to get on the mailing list at the present time if you are not already on it. The false info here is not coming from me, my friend. Good luck to you.

All of the get blacklisted u schedule or not. If urnt scheduling sumbody else might be using the same license as it comes from the nli server. The blacklisting in my opinion is related to the no of ppl using it. I wud beleive ur 24 hr deadline if u were working for eset....... :(

i installed nod32 699 and killed egui installed dennis1232231 v5 patcher and it updated right away without any problems.

Look, I want this place to continue to be a peaceful, kind, helpful, place where people continue to come together and help each other with the kind of stuff we help each other with here. And all I'm trying to do is contribute to that.

But when someone responds to one of my posts and clearly accuses me of posting "bull" and "false info," then I think I have a right to respond. And in this particular case, I think my response was factual, measured and appropriate (i.e., not flaming or arguing with anyone, which I don't think I have ever done regardless of the provocation). And that's all I'm going to say about that.

I have received a lot of help here, for which I am very grateful, and all I want to do here is give some help back when I think I have something to offer. But I think in the future I'll probably just be more of lurker.

Meh, for some reason I simply can't install NodLogin. I have it in the correct folder, yet it keeps saying that I don't.

Hey doc :

You just have to click on Setup.exe (32 or 64 bits) . Choose "normal mode" and also you must be the Administrator of y / PC.

Last version is always better, but that`s not the problem why you can`t make it work.

I am receiving automatic updates using ESS 3.0669 and NodEnabler 2.1

The only thing I changed was to copy/paste "NodEnable.exe" from ESET folder to Eset Smart Security subfolder at Program Files. However, I don`t know if it was because of that.

Actually it's an update server. Open NOD32 -> Settings -> Update -> Servers: add (http:LINK NOT ALLOWED -> OK ...

It worked for me but I'm not sure anymore, because I'm now using Avast instead of NOD.
