i was using marsu fix for long but thn as everyone knws it stopped working or sum server prb occurred. I was getting updates but I had to click on update like 20-30 times, so I found the Nodlogin 9.6 and it seems to work ok for me, it has upgraded my Eset Smart Security to full version and it shows license valid till 19/09/2008. Also I have scheduled it to run Nodlogin every 60mins. Everything seems ok here but I have a question, after 19/09/2008 what will happen?? will my ESS get a new license or will Nodlogin take care of tht??

For now, Ill just continue doing that until a solution is found.

Btw, can suggest me an antivirus that doesn't take up that many resources. A free one. One that doesnt need to be cracked.

Avast

The date the license says it's valid through is irrelevant because the license will be blacklisted by Eset within 24 hours or so. But a new license will be obtained and installed by Nodlogin to replace the blacklisted one. And the process will repeat over and over.

Hey, as I was typing this post 3342 just came in.

:P ALL !

No doubt, NodLogin 9.6 is the way to go at this moment. Storage all your «Fixes» in a secure partition or DVD and do not send

them to the Recycle Bin cause we aren`t sure about what is going to happen on future with those lazy ESET servers on trial

versions.

NodLogin 9.6 is updating in time . Just hope this situation will continue, otherwise some experts here or outsiders have to invent

a new way to get ESET full working. This is the AV we all like, so ESET shouldn`t fight trial versions cracked because with all

the "propaganda" we give here and in many other websites, this AV is on Top.

Good Luck to all users !

Cheers !.......Time for Olympic Games....... :)

Thank you for making that clear. I misunderstood what you were trying to say.

Hey no worries - just let's all hope that we get ourselves provided with a sexy long-term (and uncomplicated) good old fix like the one nsane designed (he probably brought all of us together with his efforts.)

All hail the to that! Hope Nsane will be back though.

That's true. If there was no fix for ESET, they would not have been such well known Antivirus as they are now. Cause the majority of Pirates uses NOD32, because it's easy to tamper with. They shuld be providing us the fixes!!

NodEnabler works similar to Nodlogin, but updates from internet pages instead of their servers,

so no trouble with the server being down!

A few days ago some guy here was asking what does it mean when you want to install NodLogin and you see : normal mode, manual mode, hidden mode...

OK, this is a copy/paste, so do not ask me...

NODLOGIN 9.6 :

Setup Type

1 .- Normal

It installs NodLogin in the folder where you install the Antivirus, also start automatically each time you start your PC, to update a valid license.

2 .- Manual Mode

It installs NodLogin in the folder where the Antivirus installed, but does not automatically run should be run manually whenever you need it.

3 .- Hidden Mode

It installs NodLogin in the folder where you install the Antivirus, also start automatically every time you start your PC, but showed no messages "Globes notices"

4 .- Proxy Mode (option in trial)

It installs NodLogin in the folder where the Antivirus installed, also runs automatically taking PROXY configured in IE.!!!!!

And also exclude the eset folder where NodLogin are from scanning...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

have fun !

Sorry, I can't understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying NodEnabler updates the virus definitions from from internet pages instead of ESET servers or are you saying it updates the user name and pw from internet pages instead of some server containing user names and pws?

Thank you in advance for clarifying this.

Posted a couple of days ago that using Box4ever I was able to manually update database by trying 13 or so times. The amount of tries in order to get a update went up in the next couple of days so I was waiting until next week to try Nod9.6..........However Box4ever updated by itself to 3341 earlier yesterday and I just noticed that it now reads 3342 so thats 2 auto updates.......Who knows what tomorrow will bring ???

hi,harpua !

I don`t know, but perhaps from sites like : Nod321.com

Give a look. Updates everyday U/P, but I only see for EAV.

----------------------------------------------

Hey,tried just now one of those licenses at =321.com= Username and Password starting EAV... and had 1st update on ESS3.0.669. For sure this license will be blacklisted one of this days but just have to get a new one there when that happens (they update keys everyday).

So this is an alternative to Nodlogin if this one fails someday. I just expect NodLogin keeps doing a good work for ever. Right now is the best.

cheers

Jofre

Box, said :

I just use the trial username/password that comes with the trial version. It uses the eset_upd commercial servers to update. Right now the trial u/p is good until 20 Oct, for now. Let's see how long this one last.

------------------------------------

Jofre:

But this way every 45 days you must add a new username and password, and you have to download and start installing the trial version and catch U/P...

But earlier today, about 5 hours ago already, 3343 was delivered to me. So it doesn't sound good yet to me.

Jofre: I agree. Right now NLI is working perfectly. . . as well as anything ever did. No complaints here, except that there's no automatic uninstaller for it, but that's really not a big deal. I just hope it continues to work as well as it is now. If it doesn't, I guess there's always that NodEnabler to try out, but I'm not changing anything unless I start having problems that I haven't seen yet.

NodEnabler grabs U/P from internet pages instead of NodEnabler servers, as Nodlogin!

Thanks for clarifying that. So far with NLI 9.6, that hasn't been a problem. But if that should change, I'll most def give Nod Enabler a try.

Can someone be so kind to PM me nodenable.exe (32-bit)

For some reason I can't extract nodenable.exe from setup.exe :)

Edit:

I just get an empty shortcut pointing to C:\Program Files\Eset\nodenable.exe

I installed nod32 in a different drive/directory.
