Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0? (CONTINUED)

It looks to me like there is a good chance Eset is going to cut off access to the evaluation servers eventually. This whole problem with the servers they've been having even to legitimate users might be due to their tinkering around with their systems to try to cut off access to the evaluation servers despite what their official explanation for the problem is.

Even though I'm still getting updates with some extra effort and playing with the settings, I am getting somewhat frustrated and considering giving the latest brand spanking new version of KIS a try. Anyone have any experience with their product? Do you think it is better to go with KAV or KIS? KIS sounds pretty cool from the description in the download section of this site, but it could be kind of bloated. I just don't know, having never tried it before.

I'll probably give EAV a few more days to see how things go before making any major changes.

I use marsu 2.5 and server set on choose automatically.

My girlfriend nod 32 automatically updated mine not. We have the same version 3.0.650 and the same crack marsufix. Very strange.

The problems everyone is experiencing is due to this:

ESET has had some server issues(or still has) and therefore updates for trial versions have been 'delayed'.

Of course paying users get updates before trial versions do. The order(I think) goes like this: V3 paying useres, V2 paying users, V3 trial users, V2 trial users.

If you are very eager to get your updates you should manually change your username/password every time you want to update using the License Updater from the frontpage(ESET products).

If you don't care about your updates being delayed for +/- 5 days then you can just keep on using any fix you use and wait for the update servers to 'recover', again...

If it fails one day and we can no longer use it = second choice and a good one too = Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0.454 Final =also with a Fix that resets trial to 30 days.

I have it installed (one of my backups) and works.

Also Box is doing a new similar Fix , so we are always safe.

Because of this problem ( CAN'T UPDATE AUTOMATIC ) I uninstall all fix and uninstall nod.And install fresh without fix.I use serial from nod321 dot com,nod32sky dot com,32nod.110mb dot com,nod32key dot com.And i can update.This time the virus sinature database 3329.That key always update.Try it.

I too am having problems updating. (I use the BoxDIY crack on mine. NOD32; XP64) After updating Eset manually 7x, it finally updated. I think the problem is that some trial servers aren't up to date. Every time you do the manual update, Eset cycled through its many trial servers. When it finally find an updated one, Eset updates. This is just my observation.

In Advanced mode, click Setting and go to update tree. Click 'edit' and manually key in the server, leave user/pass blank. After that, just update as per normal.
