Eset Nod 32 Fix for 3.0? (CONTINUED)

I'm using nod32 3.0.667.0 with marsufix 2.6. I can update virus definition, but the day counter goes down (now it's 28 days). Is this normal with this version of marsufix?

I think it was normal when It got to 29, but if it's gone down to 28 there might be something wrong. But as harpua said, there are plenty of other fixes to use if it don't work. ;)

So 2.5 is still working on the latest version and we should keep on using that instead of 2.6? When will 2.7 be released?

How do you mean 'the many 2.6 versions'? To my knowledge there is only one Marsufix 2.6, but marsupilami recently told there was a problem with it and you should switch back to 2.5.

About ESET update :-Had to force manually update, trying several times (one hour ago) and got finally - Virus signature database : 3306 (2008.07.29)

Enjoy!

Jofre

Why do u keep posting these here, the ppl that make these have rules about posting on forums and other sites. U should respect there rules as u would the rules here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am free to do whatever I want with this NodLogin, I am not registered on Ulisessoft so I have no obligations and besides, this is on Net on every place.

Was copied on Softexia. Better you go there and claim against Waytogo, one of the administrators there.

See you ;)

Problems with Marsu-Fix 2.6 I found also, but v.2.5= O.K.!

Also found many bugs on Dennis123123 "vaccine", so decided not to use it.

Anyway, thanks Dennis !

Too much work you still have to do...

cheers

I'm using Marsufix, the process Eset_TrialReset_serv.exe needs to be running all the time?

i don't have this process, but i have regx32.exe process running, since marsufix 2.5 is installed (got it from marsu's signature).

strange, but few antivirus scan and anti spyware scan tell this file is ok, even if this file name is known to be a trojan.

I have Vista ultimate x 64 installed with EAVBE 3.0.669 x64. Tried Dennis's fix no go.

Moved on to Marsu's fixes. Could not get updates using either 2.5 or 2.6 even after

servers were up and running.

So I went back to the basics and used Vadim.Fix = (manual). And success!! Updated to the latest

definitions 3310. And so far I have 31 days. Will report more in a couple of days. :)

I think there may have been more than just a problem with Eset's servers. I think the 3308 update screwed things up. I uninstalled and reinstalled and once I did that the program updated right away with no problems and updated to 3310. Time will tell if it continues to update. So the problems with Marsu and Dennis fixes may have been coincidental to Eset's own problems.

I'm using ESS BE 3.0.669 + MarsuFix 2.5 (Vista 32bit)

I was stuck on 3308.

I updated manually, but before I set "Choose server automatically" instead of "blank" in the "Update Server Configuration".

ESS updated successfully to 3311 and the days remaining are now 31 (instead of 30 before update).

that was a server glitch and not a problem with the fix

Is anyone now able to update with the Dennis123123 patch?

Guys don't worry about those signature updates, has everything to do with ESET's server problems and will most likely be solved as soon as possible. There is nothing in your or our power to change this except for offering them more bandwidth or donating for them buying more lol :D

Im using denis123123 v 6 and on 3315.

Repeatedly manually update ul get it. Its a problem with their servers. I have other machines running previous eset versions and marsu fix with the same problem

Is there anybody heard the news that ESET will terminate/stop their trial servers ?

For the new trial version, ESET will send a ID(Usename/Password) for trial users and using the retail servers for update!!!
