http://www.nsanedown.com/?request=140184

it says it's 3.0.669.0 but it's not, it's 3.0.667.0 , I just installed it,

after uninstalling the file from ESET before that.

thnks

dennis123123 is the dumprep that sits on egui on the startup registry your doing? if yes...it messes with some utilities on my pc and its annoying

since installing v6 my system randomly reboots when running some apps

yes, my YM! often auto logout or disappear (used method 2, trying method 1 now)!

Downloaded NOD32 AV home edition from joffes link. Then ran Dennis' v 6, selecting the last method and checking all the other boxes. I'm stuck at version 3230. Is this correct?

Nope. Current, as of this moment virus definition update is 3304.

Perhaps you need to update it by clicking on "update"?

Installed the dennis patch twice and still doesn't work, not sure what the problem is but days have been counting down as well.

Installed the dennis patch twice and still doesn't work, not sure what the problem is but days have been counting down as well.

Try this. Uninstall Eset. Delete all the Eset folders you can find, except the one that contains the setup file.

Then reboot and install ESET again with "custom" setting, set update parameters later.

After program is installed. Run Dennis' patch but just use the convert retail to trial for now. After you have converted the retail to trial, then run the patch again and select method 1, 2, and 3 and forget about the watermarks.

After that, try to manually update ESET by hitting update.

Another thing is in the Eset Scheduler, if the patch doesn't create two scheduled trial reset tasks for you, create your own as follows:

Create one that will run external application (Eset-maintenance.exe) on user logon and create another one that will run external application (Eset-maintaince.exe) on successful update of the virus definitions and place a check mark in both of those scheduled tasks.

Also, if you only used Dennis' last fix (#3 manual reset), it will keep counting down. You have to manually run the reset.exe (or whatever it's called) to reset the trial to 31 days by clicking on it, each time you want to reset the trial. That's why it's called "manual" reset. That particular fix doesn't do anything automatically.

Imo, it's better to run all three fixes and forget about the watermark removal stuff. If the windows scheduler fix works for you by itself, you can later simply uncheck the scheduled task fixes that are/were installed in the ESET scheduler. I suspect, however, that the best performance will be obtained by keeping both the ESET scheduled task fixes (as described above) running as well as the Windows Scheduled Task fix.

The problem with updating is due to Eset having some serious server issues. Pretty pathetic actually. On the Eset/Wilders Security forum, the ESET rep said they rolled out a big database update for v2 users and apparently it has overloaded their servers to the extent that v3 users can't update. No word on when this will be resolved, but at least it has nothing to do with the various fixes.

I'm using nod32 3.0.667.0 with marsufix 2.6. I can update virus definition, but the day counter goes down (now it's 28 days). Is this normal with this version of marsufix?

Hi, Dennis123123

When will ur V7 out?

I'd post the chinese lang and some suggestions

Suggestions:

1. for method 2 crack:

I think hidden the task in windows scheduler like using "attrib +H %Systemroot%\Tasks\XXXXXXXX" will be better or add an option for show/hide

the task in windows scheduler.

2. add exclusion in ESET for ESET-Maintenance.exe

3. add a crack method :

add a task to windows scheduler when windows started like method 2 or u can combined this method with method 2

4. some people will disable the windows scheduler, add activition for the windows scheduler

Thanks so much for ur works

Here is the chinese lang including the watermark removed lang file:

MF /?iegdg6ejweb

Note: egui.exe,eguiUpdate.dll is the same as english ver.

I have description in the read_me.txt

I don't think it's smart to add an exclusion before it gets flagged as a virus... They might find another, harder to fix way to flag the fix as a virus.

Dennis123123 perhaps you should add an uninstaller to your fix.

I hate having to uninstall everything manually (uninstallers, regedit, prefetch and search files).

Currently switched back to marsu-fix 2.6.

That's the beauty of Marsu's fix. His installer/uninstaller is so simple, easy and elegant. Having an uninstaller is a pretty critical feature, imo, however, I'm sure people appreciate Dennis123123 putting his fix out to users as soon as he had a working version, even if didn't yet have all the bells and whistles he has planned for it. Also, I think one could install a new version of EAV right over Dennis' fix, so it is not as essential to have an uninstaller, but it sure would be nice.

I believe it is not supposed to count down at all but the only time the reset actually seems to work in this version is when the virus definitions are successfully updated. You probably haven' t had a successful definition update for several days because there were problems with Eset's update servers over the past couple of days. But they seem to be working again. If it keeps counting down, uninstall and try something else. There's plenty of options to choose from. An embarrassment of riches.
