If anyone has anything to say about about another member PM me what you think - don't put your dirty linen out in public (or express your thoughts to that member privatly). Any more flaming etc will result in warnings being issued.

Also, I would like to remind everyone of our forum rules (namely parts relating to asking for crack/ keygens etc and links to these... URLs like mediafireDOTcom/?asdpeojfdijn are NOT permitted, "sharecodes" for such sites will be tollerated).

Just wanted to say thank you very much for your hard work Dennis123123. I'm currently using your "ESET-Patch-version-6(dennis123123)" on ESET NOD32 Antivirus v3.0.669 64 bit and it works flawless as far as I can tell. I chose Method 1 & removed all watermarks before executing the patch. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 x64, anyway I just wanted to say thanks to all who provide us with these ESET patches here on the forums. I know you guys do this in your spare time and don't get paid to do so, I hope others understand this and can show their gratitude as well.

@dennis123123

I'm running Vista Business x64 on VMWare to test your new v6.

Installed EAVBE 3.0.669 x64 and applied your v6 and seems the update part works but

after reboot went from 31 to 30 days.

Also none of the watermark changes took effect.

Did you install the Windows Task Scheduler method as Dennis recommended? If so, it should run every 15 minutes and reset the trial. Personally I think every 15 minutes is a little more often than necessary and you can change that by going into the windows task scheduler app and find the appropriate task that the patch created and then edit the task to run as frequently you prefer. Also you can install his manual reset as well and just click on the .exe that is created to reset the trial to 31 days anytime you want, although this is probably unnecessary if you use the windows task scheduler method in Dennis' patch.

Don't know why the watermark changes aren't working.

@dennis123123

Suggestions:

1. for method 2 crack:

I think hidden the task in windows scheduler like using "attrib +H %Systemroot%\Tasks\XXXXXXXX" will be better or add an option for show/hide

the task in windows scheduler.

2. add exclusion in ESET for ESET-Maintenance.exe

3. add a crack method :

add a task to windows scheduler when windows started like method 2 or u can combined this method with method 2

Thanks so much for ur works

Here is the chinese lang including the watermark removed lang file:

Note: egui.exe,eguiUpdate.dll is the same as english ver.

I have description in the read_me.txt

I dont know whats going on with that, maybe you forgot to run as administrator (as in right click->run as admin)?

I said in my announcement post, the windows task scheduler is 100% reliable, the "method 1" is not. Try method 2. If that doesnt work, try method 3, and run the exe as administrator, if it still doesnt change, there is something seriously wrong with your PC, because that is the *exact* same test config (vista x64 EAV30669 vmware) that I used to develop this software (as you can see from my teaser 2 screenie). It is running to this day, and hasnt moved from 31 days.

Also, to the people who have said 15 mins is too fast, it was made that fast so people who might just check their emails etc for 30 mins a day, if the scheduler was set for an hour, it would never reset. But like posted before, simply go into the scheduler and change the time if you want.

Oh and I forgot to mention, any watermark changes on the same "page" of eset gui have to be done at the SAME TIME, so you CANNOT for example, remove the purchase links from the main page, then later on remove the trial countdown, it relates to the way it searches for them in the program's code.

Tried using method 1, 2, 3 and had problems with each. Method 2 &3 was able to remove watermarks but was asked for u/p when updating. After each failed attempt I did a complete uninstall and tried again. And of course I ran as administrator. Even after failed attempt of mode 2 I deleted the setting in windows scheduler before moving onto method 3. Don't know what is wrong but I couldn't get v6 to work. Maybe it's because I'm using the Business Editon.

So I moved onto marsu's 2.6 and had no problems at all with updating. Says it's 30 day trial so I'll give her a couple of days and see what happens.

I haven't read this entire thread yet, but I remember nsane's fix for v2.7 was to add a task to Nod32's sheduler, which ran the nodfix registry file. Am I correct to assume that this doesn't work anymore in v3? I thought I read that somewhere and I personally haven't been able to get it to work even when I right-clicked the task entry and told it to "run now" (on a small reg file I made to modify packagetag).

I just noticed this is working again on v3.0.667 on my XP machine, but I can't get it to work at home on my Vista PC using 3.0.669. I haven't tried it with 3.0.667 on Vista yet, but I will tonight. Just wondering if this was overlooked by Eset on 667 because I notice in the release notes, the only difference in 669 is "Fixed tasks scheduled to be run after a successful update", which is how the original NodFix worked.

So you're saying you made the nsanefix work with V3??? Seems impossible to me, but if you really did... Nice!

Am I correct to assume that this doesn't work anymore in v3? No, the executable created by Dennis123123's patch will work when run from either windows or ESET scheduler or by just clicking on it. I thought I read that somewhere and I personally haven't been able to get it to work even when I right-clicked the task entry and told it to "run now" (on a small reg file I made to modify packagetag). Well that's what's different about this patch executable. It really works to reset the trial counter at least in .669).

I just noticed this is working again on v3.0.667 on my XP machine, but I can't get it to work at home on my Vista PC using 3.0.669. I haven't tried it with 3.0.667 on Vista yet, but I will tonight. You can use the executable created by the patch to make your own custom scheduled resets in the Eset scheduler.

Hi,to all good people here !

Do not know a bit about Dennis 123123 "Cure".Haven`t tried yet.

-------------------------------------------------------------

About updates :

I think RobrPatty is right according to his last post.

With Marsu-fix 2.6 I have 3302 databases virus sign ( I am using this almost everyday)

and

Changed to Box4ever which is with date 18/Jul/2008 with 3278 and can`t update. So,trial versions are probably down.

Hey, where are y'all getting the EAV 3.0.669.0 x32 bit Trial Version from ??

Anyone got a good link, "where the file definitely aint been messed with"

Just now, downloading eav_nt32_enu.msi from Eset, I get 3.0.667.0,

ansd just now right after that, downloading from here, front page:

http://www.nsanedown.com/?request=140184

it says it's 3.0.669.0 but it's not, it's 3.0.667.0 , I just installed it,

after uninstalling the file from ESET before that.

thnks

I'm having difficulties trying to use Marsu-fix 2.6. When I go to update Eset says it doesn't need to be updated. The definition database says 3230 which is not up to date. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks

EDIT: All is good. I thought I had 2.6 installed and it was 2.5. Defs upto 3304

sometimes when there is a change coming in the full version, they get update first. day or two later trial ones are allowed to update
