Driver for vimicro webcam

I seem to have found the right driver for it, but once installed the cam shows just blank (white) picture. I tried many other drivers also... I even tried the original driver CD, which isn't compatible with Vista (hey, I had to try)... The one which is compatible with Vista is for 50hz driver (at least the folder title says so; the original disc says 60hz)

The driver which is needed is VC0305 ...

It's either my cam is broken (which I doubt) or Vista is seriously pain in the butt about it. Or there just isn't a 60hz driver :)

Can anybody suggest something ?

I'll just mention that Windows driver installer said that it is "PC Camera 301x", if that helps.. I also tried 301x driver, no avail.
