shought
Undo Immunization, uninstall Spybot S&D and make sure the Opera folders in Program Files and Documents and Settings are deleted, run CCleaner and TuneUp Utilities Registry Cleaner then install Spybot S&D again. KotaXor
Hello,I used to have Opera (the browser) but now after removing it it still appears in the immunization section of Spybot. How can I remove it ? The immunizaton is in the host file. Remove it and replace it with the backup copy create by spybot and you will be OK! Hitman6267
@shoughtI did as you said but instead of using TuneUp I used jv16 PowerTools and CCleaner's own register cleaner. But it didn't work.@kotaxorI don't see how doing what you said would help me with my problem. Thank you for your input though :)
shought
Well then let's give it another try, manually. Open Spybot S&D, undo Immunization, uninstall Spybot S&D, Start > Run > regedit.exe > Enter, Search for 'Opera' and delete all entries containing Opera, run CCleaner, install Spybot S&D.Hope this does it.Edit: Btw, it doesn't really matter if they are there... I understand you want to get rid off them, but don't make this thing #1 priority :)
