It's for all the downloads hosted on nsane.down server. I'll just disable it and download the Fraps :) Thanks guys :)

First of all.....why are you using Norton for? It's really not worth all the hassle. Try out Kaspersky if you want a really great Antivirus OR try Avast antivirus if you want a good free antivirus.

use this one

http://ultrasurf.us/

norton will not block the nsanedown.com

maybe your hosts are modified

go to c:/windows/drivers/etc/hosts

open the hosts file and delete everything there except 127.0.0.1 localhost

Your opinion is too subjective, according to Symantec - Norton 2010 and up has been recoded from fresh, it's a born-new product. Faster, lighter, and better than the old Norton. i don't use Norton myself, but not because it is suck - i just like the other AV.

I have many reasons, I'll state a few of them here:

- Lightest of all security suites I've tested on my computer.

- Identity safe

- Excellent firewall

- Excellent malware blocking/prevention & removal

- Fully automated

- East to turn off protection

- Pretty sidebar gadget

I simply have to turn off the intrusion prevention from the main screen and download the file - no hassle here for me.

I've tried Kaspersky many times, and it did not turn out to be so great for me. I've tried Avast IS 7 too, not that great either.

What do you mean:

I'm sorry, I did not quite understand what you were saying, and besides, it's illegal to access the website from I live.

It might be due to host file is modified, but I can neither confirm nor deny it as I am unable to test it, at least for the next few hours. I will try it out and share the results.

No wonder Norton sucks!!! will never go back to its sh!t.. last time I ever used any app from 'em was in 2001.. lolx..

Norton does not suck at all, every other security suite has it's own issues and IMO Norton arguably has the least of all.

If it`s so great why does it have so many false positives and low detection rate (even comparing to the free av-s) ?

Do you have a test av department ? What do u mean about FPs? do u like Norton don't delete cracks or keygens? keygen and crack is FPs? come on man, every AV have good and bad features.see this reply (post #34):

The lab tests do not reflect real world scenarios and they contradict my experience with the product. No major false postives, but I will say that there are false postives, but that's easily managable.

ultra surf is the solution men!

It's illegal here and I dislike to be using any proxies.

The issue is solved; just had to disable the Intrusion Prevention for a few seconds till I started the download process. Thanks for the help anyway :)

I thought you were using McAfee? As per your sig.

Haha! I switched from McAfee long, long ago. I were just too lazy to change the signature. Nevertheless, it's a good AV IMO.
