Guest Silent™
Is this IPB paid for or is it the hacked version with license included? I have a hacked version with 100+ mods and license but I can't install it
LemonHead2089
this IPB board is niether paid or hacked. nsane had a trial verison IPB released for a short amount of time and he was lucky enough to download it and thus use it legally
Guest Silent™
I see. Well as I said I have IPB 2.0.3 but I need some to install it for me. I'm with hostultra.
nsane
i wouldn't use a hacked version, i haven't seen 1 nulled IPB2 release that returns the proper ipscheck value to simulate a legit trial version...http://www.kltforums.com/?ipscheck=1 - Hacked, KLT can't afford a lifetime subscription with copyright removal permissions, that's like $500. you can tell because it's 9 digits long (ie. they're in DEEP shit when IPS finds their site)http://nsaneproductions.com/forums/index.php?ipscheck=1 - Legit trialhttp://filesharingplace.com/forums/index.php?ipscheck=1 - Registerednow, IPS can use those numbers to to check your lisence key, ipb version, and a few other things. but as you'll notice, mine returns "--", which is IPS for no key and no upgrades...or the original trial. all the PHPNULL groups only think they know what they're doing. and yes, if looked through the code myself, i know EXACTLY how the ipscheck process works :)plus the fact that your sitting on a free host, that doesn't help too much either... Guest Silent™
So how exactly did you get the trial to become a full board?
nsane
it's the unlimited trial that was only available for like 2 days. after that IPB became a full retail product and the trials were limited :)

nsane
you need to chmod all the proper folders, they're listed during the installation guide. setup a database & username in the control panel on their site, then go to the install file via your web browser, usually...http://my.site.com/forums/install/index.php...follow the steps there and delete the entire /install/ folder after you finished. i also delete the /update/ folder since it's possible to reset the database from there.and you should be finished :)
