Laptop Which Company?

Just Download Original Driver from company site and dont upgrade to v7.

Run the command msconfig to prevent the Bluetooth startingup with Windows.

Then buletooth file transfer will not work

thing is OEM sony..doesn't support driver update directly so I have the original driver

Download the version 6.2.1.100 from this Link after uninstalling the current version installed on your machine

Even i had the OEM one that one only gets corrupted.

I had got this driver with mine so just reinstalled this. http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/in/en/DriversDownLoads/Drivers_Show_4297.html

Using Broadcom v7 ll give you more problems than before.

Bluetooth can always be run anytime through the 'Start Menu' without loss of any functionality. As an aside, Bluetooth file (or any) transfer is not only slower than that of a data cable but also much more vulnerable. :(
