hissash
I'm running Chrome beta 18.0.1025.113 with the following extensions: AdBlock v2.5.22 AdBlock Chromium v1.2 Adblock for Pirate Bay v1.25 Adblock Plus (Beta) v1.2 AdBlock+ Element Hiding Helper v1.1.9.18 Blank Canvas Script Handler v0.0.20 Cache v1.2 Chrome Update Notifier Plus v0.5 DivX Plus Web Player HTML5 <video> v2.1.2.145 HTTPS Enforcer v2.0 IE Tab v2.11.30.1 IPv6 v1.7.1 JDownloader Integration for Google Chrome™ v1.2.3 KB SSL Enforcer v1.0.20 KB SSL Enforcer Browser Button v0.0.5 MAFIAAFire Redirector for Chrome v0.7 MAFIAAFire: Slash unblocker for Chrome 0.1.1 v0.0.12 Search torrents without signing up v1.0.2 ShowIp v1.0 Skipscreen v0.5.8 Sort by seeds v1.1 Spybot - Search & Destroy v2.0.7.20106 Stop Autoplay for YouTube v0.11.5.24 Stylish v0.9 Tampermonkey v2.4.2691 When I try to access the front page I get Unable to access the network Google Chrome is having trouble accessing the network. This may be because your firewall or antivirus software wrongly thinks Google Chrome is an intruder on your computer and is blocking it from connecting to the Internet. Here are some suggestions: Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again. Error 138 (net::ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED): Unable to access the network. any ideal how to fix this.... I'm able to view the front page fine on other computers using the same browser with all the same extensions....
coolng
Same problem here. If you use proxy you should will have no problem accessing it. Maybe you need to flush your DNS

hissash
well I don't use a proxy to access the site, as for my security I've got ESET Smart Security v5.0.95.0 and its fully updated, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60.1.1000 again fully updated, Spybot Search & Destroy 2.0.7.0 Build 20120207 fully updated..... also I run peerblock with some lists in it..... as for other browser to access the front page firefox gives a similar error..... I'll try a dnsflush and post back the resultsEdit: I did a dnsflush and still the same error on frontpage load....Edit 2: disabled all the adblock extensions still same error on page load....Edit 3: I just tried a proxy to get the front page and it worked, but I'm still wanting to fix this error as I don't really like using proxies for everyday browsing....Edit 4: also should have mentioned this earlier but I've had this problem before but it was always due to chrome not being updated, however once it updated the problem always fixed itself.... Administrator DKT27 Posted March 20, 2012 Administrator Share Posted March 20, 2012 It's malwarebytes. Disable it's IP blocking protection (malicious website blocking). If it's still not working, Allow HTTP in Peerblock.
hissash
tried disabling the malicious website blocking and still get the same error.... also I have allow http to always in peerblock....Edit: wasn't there a way to whitelist certain websites in Malwarebytes at 1 time.... Administrator DKT27 Posted March 20, 2012 Administrator Share Posted March 20, 2012 tried disabling the malicious website blocking and still get the same error.... also I have allow http to always in peerblock.... Edit: wasn't there a way to whitelist certain websites in Malwarebytes at 1 time.... You'll have to disable it then restart to take effect. To whitelist a site: How to add website IP to Malware Bytes Anti Malware ignore list? Go to the website and if it is blocked by Malware Bytes Anti Malware (MBAM), do not close this site, but right-click to the MBAM icon on taskbar (bottom right), and You see there "Add to Ignorire List >". It is now black, not grey. Put mouse on it and select IP and click on it. Thats all. After some seconds You can open the page again and it will open correctly. You can see this IP in ignorire list now and You can turn on malicious site IP protection again. EDIT: well after I re enabled the malicious website blocking I can now view the front page again.... so it seems the problem worked itself out again..... thanks for all the ideals on how to fix this...... I see. Make sure you whitelist it anyway. :)
