pr1xsel
I used Teracopy to copy things to USB stick 9.5mb sec while Win8 kept 2-7mb unconstantly.
Administrator Lite Posted March 19, 2012 Administrator Share Posted March 19, 2012 Windows 8 = Beta, undergoing testing. Contains debug code. Yet to be code optimized.Windows 7 = Stable. Heavily revised. Optimized code. This isn't a fair comparison. There are also many other factors to look at when it comes to access times and transfer speeds. Maybe you can use one of the disc benchmark tools on nsane.down to give a better comparison? :)

nuthut
Are you seriously complaining about 6 seconds over 2 Gigs of information????When your SSD start to get older and the transistors start to breakdown, those ultra-fast SSD are going to end up being slower than the traditional 7200 RPM HD's.
