Isn't FF 12 supposed to be the beginning of x64 versions of the browser? :excl:

Nope. No specific plans for 64-bit version yet. The development of 64-bit is not dead but moving very slowly. There are lots and lots of fixes to be made before they can make the 64-bit version available for the public yet.

The new tab page has finally arrived for those that want to use it. I already have ^_^

To enable it go to:

  • about:config
  • Enter browser.newtab.url in the search bar
  • It will say about:blank, change it to about:newtab
  • Then enter browser.newtabpage.enabled
  • Double click to set it to true
  • Restart Firefox
When Firefox restarts open a new tab to see your most used sites. It is a little bare right now but it's better than New Tab King already imo...

I dropped firefox for chrome when adblock was first available due to faster start up times for the browser, better page rendering and a cleaner default interface
