rudrax
unlike desktop DVD burners why notebook DVD burner goes dead so quick and frequent..?..I replaced my burner within warranty being dead and now it again gone dead and I don't have warranty..2 DVD burners dead within 2 years..This is not with my DVD burner only, most of other notebook users around me are facing the same problem. Can anyone tell me, why it goes dead so quick? Can it be prevented? If I replace a new one now, how can I make sure that it won't be dead again? majithia23
instead of replacing the internal one ,get your self a good quality external USB DVD Burner .
rudrax
instead of replacing the internal one , get your self a good quality external USB DVD Burner .this is good but it is difficult to carry around with peripherals.. Ok, give me some models of external DVD burner that you recommend..it should be as compact as possible
majithia23
Mostly all are compact ones , more or less the same size .if you want budget ones , go for a Samsung or Buffalo .if you want top quality and brand go for Plextor or Lacie .
