MinDokan
Some time ago I will never recommended you Comodo. But today, I do.One of the biggest problem of Comodo was the UX. It was very difficult for non-advanced user to understand how it works.I saw a big improvement on that area, improvement that I don't see on other good products. So yes, it's better than Eset Smart Security, even KIS if you ask me. :)But indeed, Eset Antivirus is still a good choice when you have to protect only from infected USB drives :D

dcs18
Thanks!! :D I read somewhere this is better then NIS2012.. Better than ESET Smart Security? While The EAV is contemporary the ESS should be only installed as a gift (for example on one's mother-in-law's system.) As a suite, IMO the NIS is quite formidable and the COMODO would've beaten it but for it's weaker anti-virus component. <_< My best bet for advanced capabilities (from the 3 above available alternatives,) would be to use the EAV as the anti-virus and COMODO firewall (not the COMODO Internet Security) as the HIPS-cum-Firewall (without installing the anti-virus module.) B) Coming back to the subject of mothers-in-laws and other despicable enemies the worst punishment that one could mete out to them is to install the NOD32 on their systems with the HIPS module fully enabled and then password-protect the program for good measure.

johndoe
I would not trust any of the "Norton" products anymore since the source code has been released by hackers and is available in the public domain which means it is also in the hands of other hackers / people that write malicious code that does nasty stuff to your PC. Anyways, you can acquire a license to use CIS Pro free for one year by following the instructions provided here Alternate link to free for one year installer referred to in above post Site: http://www.mediafire.com Sharecode: ?8mvnidu87pila6u [?] Edit: Found and quoted source of how use this free for one year. Comodo makes lots of popups with confusing decisions.Well, I support that. And I'm referring to it too. Comodo has invested a lot of time on user experience, or to be friendly. Indeed they have to keep working. No doubt that KIS is the 1st winner on that area.
