Tweety.Abd
Hey!So I've been testing Breakaway Audio Enhancer for a while lately, and I must admit that it is far better than any other audio enhancing software out there. The only issue I'm facing with it while regulating the volume control from the taskbar. The tasbar volume control is replaced by 'Line 1 Breakaway Pipeline'. When I try to adjust my volume on there, nothing happens. Even while on mute, the sound still plays until I open the mixer and select the volume control that existed before and regulate it. I'd like to know if there's any easy way of regulating the sound. Thanks
Smoore
1.Turn Windows volume all the way up2.Right click on Taskbar, "Properties", "Customize", at the lower left corner are the words "Turn system icons on and off", click on that, find the "Volume" and select "off". Now the volume control disappears from the Taskbar.3.Right click on the Taskbar, "Toolbars", now tick "Breakaway". Breakaway control will now be in the Taskbar.4.Right click on the Breakaway tray icon, tick "no instrumentation".5.Left click on the number part of the Breakaway control and use your mouse wheel to change the volume. This is my set up and although it's not the way I was used to, it sounds alot better so I bend a little on ease of use. shought
@smoore Thanks for this, I never noticed this toolbar before :) Thank you so much for helping me out :D ... it sounds alot better so I bend a little on ease of use. I didn't understand what you said. :unsure:He meant to say that, even though it is not the same as just being able to control the volume using the task bar volume icon he doesn't mind giving in a little on the 'ease of use' (I personally think the task bar toolbar is even better than the normal volume icon, but still) if it provides him with such a great advantage in sound quality.
