If youve already uninstalled searchqu tool bar, just check these out next,

c/Users/(UserName)/AppData/Roaming and remove searchqu

c/drive/prog files/ firefox, plugins and remove searchqu

windows/c type a search for ILIVID (thats what searchqu usually attatched to)and remove anything connected with this

windows/c type a search for BANDOO (files attatched to ILIVID) and remove anything found

Next follow step 1 below, usually works but if for some reason doesnt work try the others.

1 Open Mozilla Firefox. Go to Tools , Add-ons.

Select Extensions. Choose Searchqu Toolbar, Bandoo Media, iLivid (if found) and click Uninstall button.

Go to Tools , Options. Under the General tab reset the startup homepage or change it to google.com, etc.

In the location bar, type about:config and hit Enter.

In the filter at the top, type: keyword.URL

Double click it and remove searchqu.com and replace it with http://www.google.com.

2 Open firefox, go to help, restart firefox with addons disabled, click yes this starts firefox in safe mode then tick box

retore firefox default settings

3 Type- make google my homepage in your browser

Click and drag the link Make Google my homepage in the adress bar to the Home icon on your browser and click yes.

4 Uninstall firefox and reinstall(save bookmarks etc)

5 Its hammer time

unknownasphyxiated

it is better if you go for security software rather than doing it manually

try download Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware

you can find it on frontpage
