Security update available for Adobe Flash Player

These vulnerabilities could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. This update also resolves a universal cross-site scripting vulnerability that could be used to take actions on a user's behalf on any website or webmail provider, if the user visits a malicious website. There are reports that this vulnerability (CVE-2012-0767) is being exploited in the wild in active targeted attacks designed to trick the user into clicking on a malicious link delivered in an email message (Internet Explorer on Windows only).

Anyone have an inkling how close 11.2 is (I think the beta's been out for a couple months)? That one's supposed to make a real attempt at automatic updates for Flash, which are badly needed on the systems of normal users. This can't happen soon enough.

No update for Flash version 10 means those on version 10 are not exposed to these securities vulnerabilities.

I'm guessing it's discontinued.

The latest security bulletin is for Flash Player 10.3.183.10. It's from September 21, 2011 - so it's outdated.

It's link: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb11-26.html

The latest version of Flash Player 10 is 10.3.183.15.

If you still want it for some reason, here are the links (32 and 64 bit):

For Internet Explorer: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe

For other browsers (Firefox, Safari, Opera): http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_10.exe

Enjoy!.
