sanjoa
Hi, guys! How you doin'? I've got a problem in my cousin's notebook, a lenovo G460. It runs on Win7 Ultimate x86 (hmm! I think it should be upgraded to SP1). The problem is that when you play music it freezes a little, or sometimes you have to stop the music and it also happens with the startup sound. No virus and nothing similar found, at startup is everything OK. What do you think?
tangkungan
have you tried updating the audio driver, codecs, even the player you're using? :think:having the powerhouse combopack of CleanMem and Process Lasso also does wonders for any system..
sanjoa
He uses Winamp, which its up-to-date. I don't think the drivers are the problem, but I'll check that.Thank you! :)
AlienForce1
Take a look here , maybe you will find the answer to your problem : Winamp freezes while playing music(there someone suggests to check the plugins installed , others to see if the freezing appears only at certain type of files ... / read it...) sanjoa
It isn't only Winamp. It happens on VirtualDJ and Windows Media Player.
nimd4
Yup, same here on my parents' laptop. Video and music lag/freeze/delay.. 2GB of RAM and EVERYTHING updated, no (codec) conflicts, just doesn't work properly. Besides a fresh install and RAM upgrade, IMO there's nothing else that can be done right?! o.0PS.Services disabled to free up resources, tried a fresh profile and everything else that I can think of.. RAM management programs and whatever, nothing helped. Micro$oft FTW. :)
