New Polls should be created every year for Important Topics

We have historic polls here at Nsane forums. If you'll check poll "Which Antivirus do you use" is about 3 years Old :wtf:

So it is better to create a new poll every year for important topics like Antivirus, Firewall, Defragmenter, AntiSpyware etc.

You can create new polls as and when you feel. If you wish to create a new poll on a subject that has already been polled (make sure the start date was quite old), just send the staff a PM (or use the report button) when doing so, so they can close the old one.
