SteveWlf
I just started using WebSite X5 to replace my Dream Weaver MX (too complicated). I just want to create simple functional site for my church. However, I really want the Blog feature and have a problem there.I go through the Blog creation process and it shows up the the menu structure/tree and I setup the comments section along with a test post in that process. The Blog doesn't show up in the published site and when I go in to the site, online, as Admin. and test the site, it passes all but the comment file folder. not found or set to public access (777). I go onto the Hosting server FTP section and find it never was created. I manually create this file folder and it passes the test but the Blog selection still never shows up in the re-published site.Never worked with Blogs before but did verify that the Host server will handle PHP (Linix), has MySQL but I just don't find any data base to upload as expected. Or any mention of that requirement in the WebSite X5 editor. Not sure what I'm missing or miss understanding. I'm a web design Newbie and only limit experience and easily confused by the process. Thanks,Steve
