beer
Problem: I Want to Turnoff Google+ Personal Search ResultsSolution:1. Click on the settings cog at the top right of the Google page, then click Search settings. (Note: If you have the new google bar, you'll need to search something for it to show up. Search anything.)2. Under "Personal results" select "Do not use personal results."* Ed note: Selecting "Do not user personal results" actually doesn't disable personal search results—you can still toggle to show personal results any time. It just makes "hide personal results" the default.(Article compacted by beer, original at source)
bsvols
Yes, that will work, but you have to allow all of google's spyware/cookies to stay on your computer indefinitely, if you don't want to have to do this before each search. It's a lot simpler and quiker to just use "scroogle" search instead. It avoids all of google's B.S. automatically. :D

If you go to their home page ( http://www.scroogle.org/ ) there are simple instructions on how to add them to you browser. For Internet explorer, go to Mycroft Project ( http://mycroft.mozde...&opensearch=yes ) and use " Scroogle SSL (for IE/Camino) (ssl.scroogle.org) by Kraktus ". It is "google search " but google can't see who or where you are or put "cookies" on your computer. Note that is only a search engine (not a proxy) so when you click on a search result, the websites see you just like when you use google, bing, yahoo, etc. Hope you find this useful.

rseiler
I don't even have a "Personal results" in Google's settings, I suppose because I never opted in to G+.I should use this site more anyway, which has to be THE power user's search engine.http://duckduckgo.com
