Tweety.Abd
LOL @ Kaspersky 99% CPU. I checked my ekrn.exe process and it was normal all along. ESET FTW! Great job user@nsane :D But I'd like to know how much did Kaspersky detect and successfully remove? And Comodo too, it doesn't show how much was removed. I tested it for about a month, and it wasn't good enough for me. The best so far I've tested are Avast, McAfee & ESET.
morteza
I want to start another test and i want collect reports.Another important note is: your test is wrong because we will receive wrong response from maximum power of AV.please please please .... please follow these steps:1-Turn off your protection.2- go to in all of samples folders and cut all of samples and paste in one folder then count the number of samples.(show that in the report)3- zip that folder.4- Turn on your AV and then disconnect from internet.(offline)5- scan folder that you are created in step 2.after that, count the number of remained samples in the folder.(show it in the report)6- connect to the internet ( online )1-6) Extract file archive that you are created in step 3.count the number of remained samples in the folder.(show it in the report)2-6) Scan folder that you are created it in step 2.count the number of remained samples in the folder.(show it in the report)For time of scan please report it in steps 5 and 2-6.With these steps we have a good results. maia
1-Turn off your protection. 2- go to in all of samples folders and cut all of samples and paste in one folder then count the number of samples. 3- zip that folder. This is not recommended. For those who run the tests in the real machine, is very dangerous to extract the archive with antivirus turned off. In fact, some samples will attempt to start automatically once extracted...tested by me...and if you have turned off the antivirus the system is infected immediately. I run tests always in real machine.
