Tweety.Abd
sometimes mcafee`s artemis could not fuction well. In virustotal, mcafee detects by artemis, but in my laptop, mcafee didn`t detect it I tested McAfee by installing in on my computer. I updated it and then downloaded samples from here as well as from the link I've posted above, and McAfee removed them completely and rapidly. Artemis works perfectly fine with me and most of the detections were Artemis. I agree, it uses more resources than most other AVs but it's worth it for me. But Total Protection, even while using selected components, uses lots of memory. I'm currently searching for McAfee Virus Scan Plus since it has all what I need, but I'm not sure if I'll find one. I'd consider McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise, but it doesn't have a firewall (I could be wrong).

No examples of this type of attackare presented in this paper. It's your call, don't say you weren't warned. ;)

Morphius
I'd consider McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise, but it doesn't have a firewall (I could be wrong).Of. site tells us that 'McAfee VirusScan Enterprise combines anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, and intrusion prevention technologies to stop and remove malicious software. It also extends coverage to new security risks and reduces the cost of responding to outbreaks with the industry’s lowest impact on system performance.' Tweety.Abd
Rescan the file, and it will be resolved. For me it required two rescans before if was removed. All the viruses that were detected were removed successfully, but some, as your screenshot shows, required rescanning.

Tweety.Abd
I'm not sure if it's only me, but I've been facing this issue with Norton. There's this malware called 'W32.Silly.FDC'. Every time Norton detects it and removes it successfully, my hidden files (including OS files) and file extentions become visible. I restored them to default from Folder Optionm, but after restart, it becomes visible again. I faced the same issue with Norton some time, and it happens everytime.
