Tweety.Abd
Billed as one of the most important books in recent years, Steven Pinker's The Better Angels of Our Nature: The Decline of Violence in History and Its Causes has received rapturous reviews. But does it deserve all the accolades? Do you agree with his explanation for why violence has declined? And could this decline be reversed? I'd like to know what you all think. Tweety.Abd
how about posting his reason for supposely decliningI would, but unfortunately, I have not read his book. I were just listening to the BBC Radio "Exchanges at the Frontier" podcast and they were interviewing Mr. Pinker and from excerpt of the interview I got to listen, it was quite riveting, but I will need to read the 700-page book and check facts before I can draw any conclusion.
