need some help here and understandign this better.

here is the infromation i was given.

go here http://pastebin.com/MaQwQWB8

(did this) download as ewproxy.pl (but i see it as txt) (i have no idea where to stick it at)

OK, so first things first, go download a Win32 perl interpreter:http://www.activestate.com/activeperl/downloads

(did this) ActivePerl-5.14.2.1402-MSWin32-x64-295342

Once you've downloaded and installed it, you'll need to make sure you have the HTTP::Proxy module installed. Go to Start-All Programs-ActivePerl-Perl Package Manager. When that opens, type "HTTP-Proxy" into the search bar, and you should see the entry:

(i install the program but dont see http-proxy anywhere) i read up and figure i had to download and manually place http-proxy.pm but cant find it anywhere.

Right click it, and select "install". Then there's a button at the top of the window (next to the search bar) that looks like a green arrow, click it and it will begin downloading and installing the HTTP::Proxy module.

(since i cant find http-proxy im stuck)

When you're done, you can close the package manager. And you're ready to run the script. Just double click it, and the proxy will start (in a command window).\

Now open up your browser (remember to shut down all your tabs or to use a separate browser from normal. FF Portable is here: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable ) and change it to use the proxy.

(for now i want to do this on IE9 using OS vista)

For FF, you'll do: Tools-Options, Click on the "Advanced" tab, then on the "Network" subtab, then click "Settings..." under Connection. Click on "Manual proxy configuration" and set the "HTTP Proxy:" to "127.0.0.1" and the port to "1337"

(for now i want to do this on IE9 using OS vista)

In fact, just use FF, not chrome or IE, as they use the computer's proxy settings, and that would force all of your web traffic through that script, and would lag horribly.

Once your Proxy's configured, load up Edgeworld and have fun.
