IDS? Stateful Packet Inspection? Content control? Ease of use? Pretty graphics? Litte or no promts? Resource usage? Application Launch Control? The list goes on....So tell us.... what EXACTLY do you want?If you havent an idea what these are... tell me

erRor67
I actually stopped using ZA when the antivirus came out but Im pretty sure you can disable it... That, or download it without antivirus support.Hmm, you can try SyGate and Outpost. Those seem to be pretty good. I personally am using sygate at the moment.
SliverSamuel
does it use too much memory?
erRor67
I dont think so...Although it occationally goes to 100% CPU... which i think its a problem on my end cause my friend's comp doesnt do that.
StyleWarz
ZoneAlarm Pro sucks at the moment, they keep on adding bloat, although ZoneAlarm Free is quite nice  Kerio is worth a look too (free version is good enough). Outpost doesn't work good for me (many BSOD), but that seems a problem for more people then me...If you want a really nice firewall I would recommend Kerio Server Firewall, works great on workstations too. You might take a look at it. About Sygate, it was very good, but it definitly needs to be upgraded. I won't use security software wich doesn't get an upgrade for almost a year now...
