[SOLVED]Keygen for TuneUp Utilities 2012 provided seems to be not working anymore

Hello my friends.

I noticed today that TuneUp Utilities is now refusing any of the keys generated by the keygen provided on the download section.

It started today (after I upgraded to latest version) so I even tried to re-install the program and entering a new key from the keygen but a "not genuine key" message pops up instantly. I tried out many keys and all are blocked.

I can't use the program now since it asks for a new key as soon I open it.

Anyone having same issue? Any suggestion to "fix" this problem?

Let us know so the admin reports the keygen as outdated...

To avoid the online check, block the app either with a firewall

(recommended) or add the following line to your hosts file:

(located in \Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

127.0.0.1 secure.tune-up.com

Then use our keymaker to register the application!

If you've already accidentally let the app phone home and got

yourself blacklisted, delete the following key from your registry

and use another key from the keygen.

Yes, mine is probably "calling home" since it's not blocked.

I posted about it here because I never blocked my TuneUp Utilities and I never had any problem.

I'll try block it now.

you may have to uninstall it and clean out the registry...g/l

I added that info on the hosts file and program is not giving me a "not genuine key" message anymore and I can open it normally.

I tried to do that do the host file, but somehow i dont have access to change it.

keymaker core still working fine to me on win7x64 bit! :)

after register offline =>goto settings =>update check and untick '' automatically check for update'' =>apply=>ok and i do not need to block any with firewall,it 's still working fine up to now!

The file is ending with 0009 in my windows 7(32 bit). After I deleted it the Tune up utilities got registered with your product key and working fine without any "not guinine" warning. thanx indeed.

Why to me DOESN'T WORK ANYTHING AT ALL????

I try to find the registry value you tell above at my win7 starter 32bit sp1.

Is there any way i can fix any registry file that entirely DELETE these values?

thnks buddy ...... great info.. works after deleting those 2 registry keys..seems some random numbers are inserted into the keys. :)

Don't have to delete any reg keys, if it says you're a victim of bla bla, make sure you disconnect from inet, then generate new key, register and disable auto update checks. Get back online.. Should work like a charm, this implies that you already added the host redirect =)
