xmentr
once upon a time windows live one care safety scanner was good solution for registry cleaning but not work anymore. I m using now cclaner, sometime glary utilities and wise registry cleaner and jvp powertools. I think none of them software work good and deep clean. Best clean method manual control and clear regs. maximus
I'm using ccleaner and auslogics boostspeed very often to clean out invalid registry entries. But if I want to do deeper scan and if I want to defragment registry I go for chemtable regorganizer (very nice program indeed!!). Use this like once a week or maybe often, it depends.Currentcontrol registry keys I remove manually with psexec only if needed. This way I delete all those antivirus software (what they left behind) keys etc. from currentcontrolset -> enum -> root. (very dangerous, you should know what you are doing before deleting anything from there!)
