30-year-old Rickie La Touche has been found guilty of suffocating his wife, Pornpilai Srisroy, 28, after a series of arguments which led to her destroying his collection of Star Wars toys (nay, memorabilia!) in April.

Shortly afterward, La Touche went to his mother confessing he had murdered his wife.

​According to the Telegraph, Srisroy had promised to make La Touche's life "hell" after a series of arguments and threatened to return to her native Thailand.

La Touche was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to serve a minimum of 12 years.
