It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions. Process Lasso runs on all editions of Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7.

The x64 patch does not work for the new beta.

UPDATE: Although most users had no problems with this build, XP users would see some error messages, and there are quirks. I therefore consider it a failure, and a reason I must remember to 'slow down'.

Updated to 5.1.0.14a Beta to fix it:

UPDATE: Quick fix being issued for an error message in 2K/XP about power profiles that was inadvertently shown in this beta.

I really don't see how the patch worked for you iaTa.

I used Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and as soon as i clicked patch....the patch said it would not work for this version.

What else can you do to make it work?...run in compatibility mode?...No thanks
