Ahh... Mr Russell, i hate you :)

The answer to the question must be 0.

For these reasons:

There is a 50% of picking 25% (A or D) and a 25% chance of picking the other answers (B or C).

Yeah, but 25% has a 50% probability to be chosen ;) However, this can be interpreted in a number of ways and I don't think it can stand a rigorous formulation. The "problem" here is the ambiguity.

"Choose an answer..." From what? From the ones below? Which dataset counts? A, B, C, D, or 25, 50, 60, 25 ? What if we consider the {A25, B50, C60, D25} as the dataset? Then the answer would indeed be 25%

You can go on forever... Russell would have managed a much polished paradox if alive :P

There is not answer to this question, using only the options above. (Well the actual answer is the secret option "E, 0").

You can read more about this type of problem by searching for "Russell's Paradox".

  • 3 weeks later...

The answer has to be 60%. Everyone knows that those things

have a +\- of 10%, making the correct answer B, since there is no

70% option, and technically speaking this choice takes away 50% of the answers,

therefore making this question a 50/50 ratio, even money.

There is no wrong answer....wait....what was the question? :P
