Because they haven't updated their pages yet.

Don't worry, happens in every release. It's final. ;)

I did report an update for FF 8.0 Beta 6 yesterday but it was deleted

It was merged here as there was no download link / ftp folder available at that time. But I've edited to first post above and have added the credit. :)

If you want 64bit browser that really is faster than 32bit then you need to wait many months and hope that Win8 ie10 is faster than 32bit and that plugins are kept updated. Firefox 64bit isn't officially made because

1. Flash 64bit doesn't support Vista or XP

2. Making Firefox find and pick best 32 or 64bit plugin to work without any security or performance loss for few people isn't worth it and makes developers waste their time when the time isn't right for 64bits

3. IE9 is 32bit by default and 64bit build is outdated and hopefully IE10 fixes it when Win8 is out.

As far as i know Firefox 10 will be 32 and 64 bit browser. The main problem was before there were no 64 bit adobe flash player but there is now. Hopefully we can enjoy Firefox 10 with 64 bit browser. But i am not sure if the other plug installation will work properly in 64 bit Firefox such as IDM .....

By the way thanks for the update.
