I am using Ubuntu via the USB method (boot with USB) but it seem unable to save my setting after I reboot it.Does anyone know how can I use portable Ubuntu USB that allow us to save the setting for example I downloaded some program but after restart Ubuntu it went missing and I have to re-install again each time.Please help me and thank for your time.Regard and all the best! LeetPirate Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 You have to perform a regular installation for it to save settings. I don't think any live boot linux will save the settings.
