Trillian patch = malware?

Just downloaded the Trillian Pro 4.0 patch and Norton identifies it as a Trojan Horse and PCTools Spyware Doctor blocked my access to it as well.

Any clue whats up with this?

well of course it would be detected as malware :sneaky:

this is just to scare you m8....similar to other cracks out there...theres actually nothing wrong with the patch/crack w/e....it's just that Trillian prob pm'ed some of the av/spyware/adware companies and asked them to place the name/ver of the crack in the definition updates so it would detect it.....

I don't think if you were a company....to see ppl using payed software for free without buying it first eh ?
