nsane.forums
Justin Bieber has responded to the bill that would make singing a copyrighted song on YouTube a felony. In an interview this morning on Washington DC Hot 99.5 Radio, the Canadian singer affirmed that Internet users should have the right to reuse and remix music on YouTube.Bieber said Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) should be “put away in cuffs” for sponsoring a bill that would make posting copyrighted clips a felony. In addition Bieber made several comments during the radio appearance regarding the proposed legislation, co-sponsored by Klobuchar, “Whoever she is, she needs to know that I’m saying she needs to be locked up — put away in cuffs.”He added, “People need to have the freedom…people need to be able to sing songs. I just think that’s ridiculous.”And finally, when asked if he is comfortable with people posting videos singing his songs, he replied, “Are you kidding me? I check YouTube all the time and watch people singing my songs. I think it’s awesome.”Last week we covered the Free Bieber campaign that was launched by Fight for the Future in response to the same bill.Interestingly, although Bieber himself seems to support the cause, his lawyers have sent legal threats to try and shut it down. Ambrocious
Lawyers always try and twist the law to fit some sinister thing now days. It hasn't been about justice for a very long time. Most lawyers try and work their clients out of trouble, even if they are guilty to the bone. Well, it's good Bieber is against the anti-piracy bills, even though I don't even listen to his music. His lawyers on the other hand need to take a flying leap off a cliff at the Grand Canyon. What do you call 10,000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A good start. SacredCultivator
They got nothing better to do.Cause if the Bill passes and all those Cover Songs are removed, YouTube pretty much goes downt he Crapper. Since it'll be limited to mainly Companies / Vloggers / People that know how to create music...Unno I just feel if it does, there'll be a huge backlash.WE'll just have to wait and see. Ambrocious
Not only should that lawyer be forced to listen to Justin Bieber 24/7, he should ALSO be forced to listen to the "I Love You" song by Barney the Dinosaur non stop.
