UltraISO is a ISO CD/DVD image file creating/editing/converting tool, it can directly edit the CD/DVD image file and extract files and folders from it, as well as directly make ISO files from your CD/DVD-ROM or hard disk. At the same time, you can maintain the ISO bootable information, thus creating your own bootable CD/DVDs. You now have the power to make and edit your own ISO files, and then burn them to CD/DVD for your own needs.

Thanks to thylacine for the update.

Is it better than PowerISO?

PowerISO has minimalistic GUI, is simple and easy to use. But it doesn't have that many features (it does have normal ones though).

UltraISO is powerful, has more features, but I personally feel it's slightly hard to use and complicated (relatively).

Both suffice the basic ISO ripping, burning, mounting, etc. needs. I prefer PowerISO, it depends on you on what you like. :)

Thanks!

And one question... what's the difference between official uiso9_pe.exe and "retail version" uiso9_pes.exe ???

I prefer official sources, but... is there any advantage in retail?

The trial version has some kind of whitelist of serials. So only real purchased ones will work. When you purchase the software for the first time your name&key will not have been included on that list yet. Therefore you are provided with a link to a "retail" version that does not check against such a list. That's why the keygen also only works with the retail setup.

Great post Jalaffa. That clears any doubt.

Peace.
