Windows XP fixes

Many of you may forgot the existence of Windows XP already. Windows 7 is better in some cases, however not everything works proper under Windows 7. Here are releases for Windows XP.

Generic Antiwpa 2.3

(by cw2k)

WindowsXPProfessional-2011-10-04-19-26-05.jpg

The crack will patch some bytes in your winlogon.exe and totally disable the Windows Product Activation Check.

Antiwpa 3.4.6

(by cw2k/HLT)

WindowsXPHomeEdition-2011-10-05-19-41-01.jpg

It tricks winlogon.exe to make it believe it was booted in safemode, thus winlogon skips

the WPA-Check.

Here's an authentic key (I'm not sure if it's only applicable for my disc, but either ways, here's the key):

Let me know if it works, and it should pass the genuine test.

The key only does not activate Windows XP. If you have the key for Windows XP Pro (Volume), that would work.

Added Antiwpa 3.4.6

I personally prefer Generic Antiwpa...

I always prefer not to modify any Windows file, so I always used genuine volume key, which does not require online activation.

Cheers ;)

i've previously used v3.4.6 with xp media center edition but there's always the chance of it getting detected and/or removed by antivirus (i've had that happen, even after i excluded it, it would get detected and removed) i was thinking of trying the generic 2.3 patcher this time because there's no such thing as a vlk for xpmce

As for me guys, i bought Windows XP Home however i activated too often, so my retail bought key got blacklisted. So i had no choice till i got to hands

XP Professional VL SP3 slipstreamed copy. No activation needed.

I guess it only works for the retail disc versions, cause I've activated it on multiple computers and all of them passed the genuine test. I could try and upload an image of the retail disc if anyone requests me to do so :)

Pinning topics is a collective staff decision, not mine alone to make. What I can give you, is my opinion on this topic:

- Win 7 just managed to get first place as the most utilised OS, finally conquering XP's position;

- Win 7 works on a multitude of configurations, including VMs and slow PCs sometimes 10 years old, making XP deprecated even on such systems;

- nsane sites are usually all about the latest thing - that's why we follow topics and try to update the frontpage many times faster than the developer's site ;)

- for topics to be pinned, they have to be very popular in the first place - lots of views and great ratings ;)

This doesn't mean I think XP is useless, it's just that it is slowly becoming more and more obsolete each day.

"Windows XP Genuineiser"

to activate Windows XP (SP2 and SP3)

then you can even update Windows;

http://www.mediafire.com

sharecode: /?l19ocnzus6c6pth [?]

(report of file scanning by Virustotal.com)

Run the setup.exe (that's only a name! nothing starts to install)

Enter a number between 0 and 10000

Press Enter

Choose [Y]

the process starts....

Q: Didn't activate??

A: Choose another number between 0 and 10000 and go on...

Why would anyone use any of those methods, VLK keys included? They're terrible!

Step 1: Tattoo your BIOS with a SLP 1.0 string (any bios with SLIC 2.0/2.1 table likely has the SLP 1.0 string already, but they can easily be added to any Award/AMI/Intel BIos without one. Any "branded" computer already likely has one, too.).

Step 2: Copy OEMBIOS Files (or slipstream them into your install CD, if you prefer). (Install using SLP Key MVF4D-W774K-MC4VM-QY6XY-R38TB which will preserve SLP. That key is available here publicly from Microsoft, so it is perfectly legitimate to post it: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457078.aspx )

Step 3: Activate.

You'll have yourself a 100% genuine, no cracks or patches needed, will never ever be disabled/detectable/defeated, copy of Windows XP.

I don't consider SLP a patch or crack, since it's a method of activation that MS came up with themselves.
