HX1
I would not use this unless your on XP anyway... It was a good program in its day.. but in Windows 7 and Vista its really not needed.. Memory management is much better..EDIT: IF you have a ton of extra RAM the better usage would be to run a Virtual Disk..

toyo
seems the medicine on download page dont work rightTested on Win 7 x86 VM, working OK. I have no idea if it will be OK on x64 though. There's a readme in the fix archive, make sure you follow those steps.By the way, the app seem to have its uses, especially if you want to use a more in-detail version of ReadyBoost or can't configure a RAM drive by yourself. I like it, although don't plan to use it. Maybe when I can buy 12 GB (or more) of RAM, or a 32 GB (or more :P ) SSD I can use for caching and don't mind having it killed by the numerous writes. toyo
Well, then you have a problem on your end - Internet or PC. I tested the x 64 rar on the proxy (eBoostr.v4.0.0.554.x64.V4-TB.rar) and it's working just fine. However, I've extracted and recompressed the archive for you to try it again:Site: http://www.multiupload.com/ Sharecode: 7HG59J8LT8 [?]Please report back if this works. It might also help if you clean the registry and do a chkdsk (with surface check) for your drives, you might have some bad sectors.

toyo
Maybe your antivirus deletes it? Do you have it set on "autopilot"? Then check the Backup/Quarantine/AV logs too, and see if the AV deletes the extracted file from the temp directory.

Administrator DKT27 Posted September 30, 2011 Administrator Share Posted September 30, 2011 seems it was eset smart security version 5 autmitcly scans and deltes stuff by defaultDid it show any popup? Checkout the quarantine. I've never seen any file that's removed by ESET not being in quarantine or the logs.

You should tune your ESET AV to not decide on its own, your brain should be the authority that has the ultimate opinion on such matters.
