Codecs are needed for encoding and decoding (playing) audio and video. The K-Lite Codec Pack is designed as a user-friendly solution for playing all your movie files. Maybe my favorite right now is vlc player - something in the same league as what you suggest I guess. HATE9X Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 Tried KMPlayer, but with settings that make subtitles look as sexy as in MPC, the video would stutter like every 10 mins or so with some higher res vids..It also uses much more CPU resources than MPC + ffdshow..
